Hello! My name is Chiara
and I never would have bet that I would make it this far.
When I came back from abroad in 2015 to work in the first Amadora restaurant I had just a little bit of restaurant experience, but I didn’t know how much more I would learn.
I started as a runner, then with table service, and before I knew it I was running the entire restaurant.
The challenge was getting tougher but the stakes were getting higher, and it was only thanks to the company’s trust that I was able to take over – little by little – all the Amadora restaurants. In this business I see the possibility of revolutionizing local catering: giving everyone the chance to eat at any time.
But my real hope, underneath, is to see other careers like mine flourish: colleagues becoming team leaders, individuals becoming a team.
Amadora’s true dream come true.
